Innovative colour-shift printing adds a sensory dimension, transforming the can into an object of desire and positioning Cantails as a chic, elevated expression of modern mixology.

In the years following COVID, the RTD category has been reenergised by younger consumers seeking premium experiences in convenient formats. Once functional and forgettable, cocktail pre-mixes are now a fast-growing trend, with premium drinkers increasing their spend on spirits by over 30% in the past 12 months. This shift created an opportunity for a new kind of single-serve cocktail: one that felt sophisticated, luxurious, and unmistakably modern.

Denomination was tasked with creating exactly that: a premium cocktail range designed to elevate the entire category and command attention on shelf.

Taking inspiration from the world of luxury fragrance, the Cantails range features sleek, vibrant cans with a refined visual architecture. Each variant is identified by a distinctive number and symbol system, giving the range a sense of order, intrigue and collectability. The contemporary pastel palette adds softness and modernity, while still signalling quality.

A key innovation is the fluid colour spectrum effect which was created using specialised printing technology, allowing the can’s colour to subtly shift as it’s rotated. This dynamic, tactile detail transforms a simple can into a sensory object, enhancing premiumness and creating a striking presence both on-shelf and in-hand. The result is a cocktail range that feels chic, confident and elevated.
