Starward Whisky Cocktails

Starward was one of the first brands to put Australian whisky on the global stage, earning international acclaim and a growing collection of awards. With a wide portfolio and multiple tiers that included a line of premixed cocktails, the brand continues to expand its reach. However, the premixed cocktail range had begun to lack standout, memorability and the premium cues needed to uphold Starward’s elevated reputation.

Denomination’s task was to bring clarity, modernity and desirability to the range, while ensuring it felt unmistakably part of the Starward world. Our solution centered on elegant simplicity. We introduced bold colour-block labels, each tied to the hero flavor of the cocktail, creating instant recognition from a distance. A refined linework cocktail-glass motif houses the key information, lending structure and a clean visual hierarchy. The swizzle stick, which subtly featuring Starward’s iconic star, reinforces brand linkage in an understated, contemporary way.

To elevate the tactile and premium perception, we introduced a new squat bottle shape. Its more traditional spirits silhouette lends credibility, while its compact, modern proportions differentiate the range and enhance shelf presence.

The result is a cohesive, elevated premixed cocktail line that restores Starward’s premium positioning, improves navigability, and confidently brings Australian whisky craft into a ready-to-serve format.
