Incognito challenges cider conventions with a bold, experimental identity created by winemakers working under the radar. Each expression is treated as its own character, using striking, contemporary illustration to signal origin and attitude. With a restrained yet arresting palette and graphic simplicity, the brand delivers standout shelf presence while positioning Yallingup Cider Co as a quietly confident, progressive force in the category.

Yallingup Cider Co is a new cidery founded by not by cider makers, but winemakers “incognito” who make cider through the lens of a winemaker.

Their brief was to deliver a disruptive, unique and creative design which would be distinctive in the cider category. It needed to be bold, edgy, futuristic/modern and look experimental. The design needed to also bring to life the idea of each cider being its own character depending on the origin of the apple. The endorsement brand would be Yallingup Cider Co that would sit as a small parent brand, with each varietal’s name and individual design taking prominence.

The first release of the cider used the Fuji cider apple and so the idea was to create a character of the winemaker “incognito” as he sneaks craft cider into wine country. Using a cool, graphic, Japanese-style illustration of black on an unusual pale sage green seen on the underside of the Fuji apple leaf. A very contemporary, striking pack that is arresting in its simplicity.
